We want to help you make a difference...
The Pilates
Spot fitness studio opened in Ormond Beach, Florida in 2003. We moved to Port Orange, Florida in 2006 buying a 5 room
/ 2000 sq. ft. custom designed studio we call "home". We are the only full service Pilates studio in the county
and we provide you with the highest quality certified Pilates Instructors in the area. Our client satisfaction
and retention rate are unusually high, confirmed by the fact that we have been blessed and privileged to train many
of the same clients we opened with 8 years ago. We love Pilates, we love our job, and it shows.

Stephanie Batz
Certified STOTT PILATES® Trainer in Matwork and Reformer, AFAA Certified Personal Trainer
Pilates has been a major influence on Stephanie as she watched the positive changes on those around
her over the years. Stephanie's Mom completed her educational training with STOTT PILATES® and eventually opened
The Pilates Spot Studio when Steph was still in school. Stephanie is following a similar career path as a graduate of the
University of Florida (in Gainsville) completing her Major in Health Science, with a Rehab Services Degree. She is now continuing
her education working toward a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine, one of the top Rehab Physical
Therapy Universities in the country. It made perfect sense to add Pilates to her educational background as she searched for
more ways to understand movement in the human body. She is a Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor, AFAA Certified Group
Instructor and uses this training to teach Pilates Classes at the University Gym.
Kyra Lewis

Tineke Kordell
STOTT Pilates® Trained Instructor
With a goal of achieving her vision to directly benefit the health of individuals. Tineke left the
corporate world in medical education to become a STOTT Pilates® trained instructor. Tineke's desire to become an instructor
grew during four years of Pilates practice. She understood the scientific basis of the Pilates method and recognized it to
be a perfect extension of her university studies in Kinesiology (the study of physiological, mechanical, and psychological
mechanisms of human movement.) Tineke's mission is to use the principles of Pilates to guide clients and students to achieve
higher levels of strength, flexibility, and personal health while inspiring overall wellness and a good sense of inner self.
